Even though the standoffs on the vrm add +0,5mm and I measured the ram is the same height as the mosfets. I would replace all of them with the proper thickness thermal pads as old as those look.
WebTry a Gelid Extreme (2.5mm) pad and then cut it down to size, and do a test fit. You can compress a 2.5mm pad down to 2.0mm size rather easily.
