The park's headquarters is in King Salmon, about 290 miles southwest of Anchorage. WebIt's not really 'out of the way' to go to King Salmon and then Brooks. The majority of flights to Brooks go out of King Salmon and because of that, you can generally find them much cheaper and much easier than flights from Homer.
