WebI lived in Longsight near Birchfieldsd/Venus in 2016 and it was mostly fine. My bike got robbed from outside my flat but that was it crime wise that affected me. Not much going on there though for bars/night life but it's quick into town on the 50 or walking to Oxford Road for the bus in too.
